You can connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your Properly account and ask it questions about your operations in everyday language. The assistant looks up the information you have allowed it to see and answers from the data recorded in Properly.
No coding is needed, and you do not paste an API key into the chat.
What you can ask
"What cleanings do I have tomorrow, and who is assigned?" A quick look at the day ahead, including any job with no service provider on it.
"Who is arriving this weekend, and how many guests?" Planning from the bookings recorded in Properly.
"Did the cleaner finish every task at Lake House yesterday, and were any problems reported?" Completion and verification details, including problem severity and status.
How to connect
The account owner sets this up.
In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector, sometimes called an MCP server.

Sign in to Properly when prompted.
Choose which categories of data the assistant may read.
Approve the connection, then ask your first question.
It can read, it cannot change anything
The Properly connection is read only. The assistant cannot create or change a booking, assign a service provider, cancel a job or make a payment. To make changes, use Properly itself or an API integration.
What the assistant can and cannot see
You choose whether the assistant can read your properties, bookings and jobs, and you can disconnect at any time.
Some information is never shared with the assistant:
Access codes and Wi-Fi passwords
Property notes and job notes
Problem descriptions and problem photos
Results the assistant is allowed to return can include guest names and property addresses, so treat its answers with the same care as any other report containing that information.
Limits worth knowing
Answers come from the data recorded in Properly. If something was never logged, the assistant cannot report on it.
A date search covers up to 31 days at a time.
Results are capped at 200 rows, so a broad question across a large portfolio may need to be narrowed.
Check anything important in Properly before acting on it.
Availability
Assistant access is included with Platform Pro and Real-Time Inspection. Whether you can add a custom connector at all also depends on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
