Step 4: Start a Job Request (Managers)

Managers can send cleaning, maintenance, inspection, or key handoff jobs through Properly – here’s how it works.

Once you’ve invited a cleaner and setup your managed properties, you’re all set to send your first job in Properly!

You can start a Job Request from multiple locations –including the "Calendar," "Checklist Library," "Contacts," and "Properties" sections– within your Properly account.


Start a Job in the “Calendar” Section

Click the “Calendar” icon in the navigation bar.

  • To schedule a job attached to a specific booking. select “Check-In” or “Check Out” for that booking.

  • To schedule a job not attached to a booking, click on any day in the calendar.


Start a Job in the “Properties” Section

  1. Click the “Properties” icon in the navigation bar and select the property.


  2. Click the “Send Job Request” button in the top right corner of the property’s profile.


Start a Job in the “Contacts” Section

  1. Click the “Contacts” icon in the navigation bar.


2. Select the Service Provider to whom you’d like to send the job.


3. Click the “Send Job Request” button in the top right corner of that Service Provider’s profile.


Start a Job from the Checklist Library

  1. Click the “Library” icon in the navigation bar, then open the “Checklist Library” tab.


  2. Select the checklist required for this job and click the “...” button in the far left column.


  3. Select “Send Job Request” from the drop-down menu.
