Merge Duplicate Properties

If you import the same property from two locations, here's how to merge them.

Duplicate property listings can show up in your account if you’ve imported a property from your listing platform and added the same property manually. The property details may only vary slightly from each other (ex. different titles.)

NOTE: You Cannot Un-merge Properties

We cannot reverse the merging process, so make sure you want to combine the properties before clicking “Merge." While Properly can re-import your properties, the merged properties can interfere with accurate reporting.

  • If you’ve accidentally merged two properties and want help sorting things out, our Support Team will be there for you.

  • Click the “Chat” icon at the bottom of your screen to get in touch!

Merging Accounts

If you have two properties with identical addresses, Properly will flag both listings as potential duplicates, and you’ll see this notice:

To check out the properties we suggest merging, click “View Duplicates.”

  • If they aren’t duplicate properties, click “No thanks.”

  • If they are the same properties, hit “Merge” in the top right corner of the page.

Merging Accounts Manually

We might miss duplicate properties with slightly different addresses (ex. Sunny St. versus Sunny Street), but you can merge these duplicates manually.

  1. Open the profile for one of the properties you're merging.

    2. Open the "Connections" tab, and click "Connect" in the “Connected Properties” section.

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the “Merge Properties” button.

    4. Select the duplicates, and hit the “Merge” button in the top right corner of the page.
