What are Community Service Providers?
Properly's Community Service Providers are experienced hospitality cleaners and other service providers available in your area.
They are available when you need help. Here are some common examples of how you could use our marketplace of Community Service Providers:
- You are a new host setting up your listing and need to find new service provider
- Your regular cleaner cancels last minute, and you need to find help immediately
- Your property management business is in the midst of the busy season and you need to find additional help
- You are expanding your business to a new location and need to find quality service providers in a new region
How do I choose a Community Service Provider?
When selecting a Community Service Provider, we recommend reading the provider’s profile to gather information about their skills, experience and policies.
You can also review the service provider’s badges. Service providers earn badges based on their performance. You can use badges to select a service provider based on what is important to you. For example, if you need to hire someone quickly, look for the Fast Responder badge or a provider’s average response time. If hiring someone who has been rehired multiple times by another client would give you confidence, choose a provider with the Loved badge. Here are the badges a service provider could earn.
LovedThe service provider has been requested by the same client at least 5 times.
Fast ResponderThis provider responds to requests in under 2 hours.
PunctualThis provider starts jobs within 15 minutes of their start time and is always at the correct location.
Checklist ChampionThis provider has completed at least 3 jobs to perfection (they checked off every task pin and took every required photo).
ExperiencedThis provider has completed at least 5 jobs to perfection (they checked off every task pin and took every required photo).
Properly 101This provider has completed Properly’s in-house orientation which means they know every in-app feature and understand makes a great hospitality cleaning.

Does Properly identify Service Providers?
When a service provider uses Properly with a short term rental client, they can choose to list themselves in our directory to be hired by other property managers and owners in their area. Because these providers have experience using the Properly app and performing hospitality changeovers, Properly is populated with a community curated directory of high quality providers allowing you peace of mind knowing a Community Service Provider is trusted by another customer and understands hospitality cleanings.
Does Properly train Service Providers?
Properly offers an in-house orientation called Properly 101. It was created and is taught by our Head of Community, Tammi. During the 1-hour course, service providers learn how to use the Properly app features, overall best practices and what is unique and important in hospitality cleaning. If a service provider has attended Properly 101, they’ll have this badge on their profile.
Are Community Service Providers available everywhere?
Currently, this program is live in: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, and Singapore. More cities and countries will be added very soon.
If you live in one of the participating countries but do not see Community Service Providers in your area, it means we are still developing the program where you live. If you have a service provider or company you like working with, add them as a contact and after they complete their first job for you, they can join the marketplace.

On the web application, simply choose a property and select See Community Service Providers.
On mobile, you can check by going to the Properties tab and selecting a property you want to find changeover cleaners for. Then select 'Service Providers'. If there are any in your area, they'll appear under Community Service Providers.
What if I live in an area where the Community Service Provider program has not started?
