Sometimes, you need to add additional tasks to a job you’ve already sent.
You can always edit a job in your Properly account. Whenever you edit a job, the service provider will receive a notification that the job has been changed. The service provider will then review the job and, if applicable, the updated pay rate for the job.
If the service provider is still able to perform that job for you with the updated tasks, they will accept the edited job and the job will proceed as usual.
If the service provider is unable to accept the edited job, they can decline it.
If you sent the job originally to more than one service provider, the edited job will then be automatically sent out to all service providers who originally received it. This helps you quickly find a replacement for the job if the original service provider declines your edited job.
If any service providers already declined the original job, they will not be sent the edited version of that job.
Edit a Job
To find the job you want to edit, you can go to the calendar view or go to the property you’ve assigned the job to and click the “Job Requests” tab.

In either view, click the job you want to edit. The full job request will open.
Click Edit in the upper right-hand corner to edit the job and select Edit Job Request.
Make your edits to the job request.
Be sure to adjust your pay rate if you are adding tasks that will require an additional 15 minutes or more of your service provider’s time.
When you have finished editing your job request, click Send Job Request to send it.
